Stunning Large Antique Baccarat Opaline Casket by Jean Francois Robert Decorated with Large Hand Painted Flowers and with Fine Dore Bronze Mounts.

Each Panel Has Been Hand Painted with Lush Bouquets of Flowers.

Fine Double Dore Bronze Handles and Four Scroll Ball Feet.

Jean-Francois Robert, who had been a Painter at the Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory, executed the Fine Gilt and Enamelled Decoration on this Stunning Casket. He set up a Separate Workshop in Sèvres where he could use his Patented Polychrome Enamels on Opaline Glass from Baccarat and Saint-Louis.
