This May be a Reference to the Drawing by Pierre Guérin French (1774 - 1833) also Named Le Repos Du Monde

The Base is Decorated with Swags, Bows and Other Classical Features.

The Lid Opens to Reveal 3 Fine Hand Painted Porcelain Plaques Decorated with Cherubs, Bows, Arrows and Shields Inside Garlands of Roses.

The Interior is Lined in Orignal Red Silk.
