Rare Antique Viennese Dore Bronze Grand Piano Music Jewellery Box with Beautiful Hand Painted Enamel Panels Depicting Romantic Scenes in the Louis XVI Manner.  The Main Lid Depicts a Courting Couple in a Woodland Garden and One Lady Wooed by 2 Young Men.

The Second Scene which Covers the Keys is instead of a Reclining Man trying to Woo the Affections of Two Ladies, One of Whom is Playing the Mandolin.

Inside the Lid and Above the Keyboard the Scene is of a Gentleman Courting a Young Lady again in a Woodland Setting.

The Main lid Opens and Props up to Assume Position for the Performance.

When Wound with the Captive Key Underside and the Keyboard Lid Fully Lifted it Plays 4 Different Pieces of Music 

including La Boheme Act II ‘Quando Men Vo’

The Lid with Gilt Bronze Support Bar Opens to Reveal a Velvet Lined Interior for Jewellery or Valuables and Hidden Music Underneath the Lining.
